Griffin withdraws from Mayor's race — full council sworn in Tuesday night

Shortly after the votes of the recent municipal election were canvassed Tuesday night, the announcement was made that mayoral candidate Jim Griffin had withdrawn from the race effectively naming Aaron Garcia as Brady's newest mayor.
With the decision made, and all parties present, City Secretary Tina Keys next administered the oath of office to Council members Gabriel Moreno, Felix Gomez, Jr. and mayor-elect Aaron Garcia.
Moreno and Gomez will be seated for 4-year terms while Garcia will serve one year left on an unexpired term.
A healthy McCulloch County requires great community news.
